What is Pigmentation.

Melanin is the cause of pigmentation that gives our skin colour. Excess or less production of this pigment decides the color of skin. Some time the unhealthy cells produce abnormal amount of pigment resulting into patches on the skin which are either lighter (hypo pigmentation) or darker (hyper pigmentation).

Pigmentation can occur for a variety of reasons including over exposure to the sun, genetics, hormonal changes, medical conditions and trauma to the skin (such as burns or as a result of spots and picking). The effects can also become more obvious as we age and if left untreated and unprotected can worsen.

At Krasa Clinic, we offer a range of treatments which can help with pigmentation, giving your skin a brighter and clearer look.
